Zachary Long

Biography / Artist Statement

Zachary Long is an artist from Lubbock, TX. While he works in marketing as a web and graphic designer, Zachary is dedicated to his art. He enjoys exploring the beauty of the natural world, primarily animals and wildlife, in his work. Zachary wishes to capture the ‘presence’ of these creatures in dramatic pieces that show the uniqueness of God’s creation. While he primarily works with paint and canvas, Zachary loves to experiment with other mediums and surfaces including colored pencils, pastels, and charcoal. He believes his skills in both art and graphic design carry back and forth allowing him to achieve better results in both worlds.

Zachary’s pieces have won numerous awards and have been included in national and international exhibitions including the Conroe Art League Juried Exhibition, the Fusions “Color” International Juried Exhibition, and the Lubbock Arts Festival Juried Gallery.
